A beautiful 1.55ct pear shaped peach colored Oregon Sunstone set in sterling silver.  This Sunstone also displays a beautiful strong Schiller effect when light hits the stone at various angles.  The stone is suspended on a figaro chain with lobster claw closure.
 
This gemstone was mined in Oregon, USA.  Colored sunstones are far more rarer because most are almost clear to champagne colored.
 
Schiller is a bronze like luster, depending on the viewing angle.  This is caused by tiny platlets of copper within the stone.  Oregon Sunstones are the only sunstones that have this effect.  Copper is a natural inclusion in Oregon Sunstones and is not considered a defect.
